A top US admiral told congress that US commanders are so zealous in pursuing sexual assault allegations that they forced 93 cases to court martial despite the fact that local civilian prosecutors had refused to pursue these cases. Some people then made a Freedom of Information request to discover the details of these 93 cases and it turned out that in reality there were….errr….0 such cases.
People do the most amazing things when they think they can keep the actual facts buried.
